We are supposed to assemble at 5’am at dawn of October 09, 2010. The MOTARG-Criminology Interns were the early birds. Many were already there before I came. I arrived at 5:40 am, everyone was there. The trucks that were supposed to bring us to Conel did not show up and so, the JESS volunteers arranged jeepney rides for everyone. At exactly 7:17 am, we left RMMC and three jeepneys conquered the highway to Conel, along with the crim-intern riders.             We were assembled at a covered court in Brgy. Conel. There, the turnover of coconut seedlings was done. After the ceremony, we were instructed about where the coco-seedlings will be planted. After a few instructions, we went out the covered area and took our brunch, getting ready to conquer the long awaited trail hike. We rode on three trucks(2 Brgy.Olympog’s, Brgy. Conel’s Dumptruck) again. With each hump and muddy trail the truck has hurdled, the people are shouting excitedly.                  We mad

The VW beetle. Originally produced by the Germans from 1938 up to year 2003. My bug’s mechanic (Manong Teddy), said that I made the right choice (apart from the many obvious reasons), for it’s a woman’s car. Reason?, its air-cooled , well, for most vehicles are water-cooled . So, there is no need for tedious water-filling of its coolant.             I have long been fascinated by this lovable turtle-shaped car. I remember when I first rode a bug, I was in high school at the time, when our neighbor-stall’s driver tagged me along to fetch his boss at our town’s inn. I was surprised to realize that, to get to the backseat, you need to bend the front-passenger’s seat. When I was at the backseat, Manong Buddy turned-on the car stereo, put-on Roxette’s beat, and there I was, stunned. I rode with many different cars before, but that one amazed me the most.             I promised myself then, that if I am to have my first car, it’ll be a beetle. "Oh Santa!" - Mariah's brand new single, is about to make waves for the yuletide seasons. Merry Christmas II you is Mariah's second Christmas album. Since her first holiday and fourth studio album, Merry Christmas, released on November 1, 1994, she hasn’t release a follow up until now. The album will first launch its carrier single, “Oh Santa!”. The album includes 4 original songs written by her, including the first single. She will share her renditions of “The First Noel”, “Little Drummer Boy”, “O Little Town of Bethlehem”, “O Come All Ye Faithful” and more. Mariah never, not once, ceases to amaze me of her vocal prowess. She is by far, one of the most successful artists of the century. This album will surely be an addition to the many hit songs she made popular.
